| Any chance you can elaborate a little on what you mean by a "safe zone"? |

At events? Certainly. Don't know about mods, though. Mods are usually 'go forth into the monster's lair' sort of thing, you're going on their turf, not the other way 'round. Now, between mods, I should think so, but running in the middle of a mod, unless you can find an area you can blockade off, you're pretty much at risk of being jumped the whole mod through. Now, I wouldn't mind such defensible nooks being provided for the PC's use (being one who is going to be taking advantage of harmonics/manifolding, having a room lockable that I can pace and buff the party with would be VERY handy), but it would be completely understandable that the monsters would be trying to break into the nook with all the tasty snacks/intruders. _________________ Hug a tree, the life you save may be your own |

Im cool with it IF it makes sense. Like the secret door the monsters never found that leads to a room they never knew was there. So long as there's a logical IG reason for the "Safe Zone" then its a good idea. If however its just a convienience then no I'd have to vote against it. _________________ The ONLY good Sarr is the DEAD one I'm using for a RUG! |

I agree nwith Leon.
I don't think that there should jsut be a room that you go in to and suddleny ther eare no monsters/bad things there . I think something more along the lines of a room that could be made safe. Lie a room off in a side tunel or something that once you cleared it or baddies would have a small chance of things wandering by to attack.
Notice I said "small chance" not "no chance". Ther eshould always be a chance that something might hear ya if ya get too loud etc... _________________ Chris Summers |
